Partners meet for first General Assembly October 2019...

The entire SeaBioComp consortium of partners met for their first General Assembly meeting in October 2019 at the facilities of Centexbel in Kortrijk (Belgium) to review the first 6 month's work of the project.

Early project findings and deliverables...

A number of early project deliverables have already been completed including a comprehensive report from project partner CETI assessing the natural fibres that could viably be used in bio-composites.

Focus on Centexbel; Lead Partner...

Centexbel is the Lead Partner for the SeaBioComp project. The organisation was founded in 1950 and offers accredited and well-equipped laboratories for textile analysis, R&D, training, certification and patent research.

SeaBioComp is co-funded under the EU Interreg 2 Seas Programme...

The project will run to August 2022 with an overall budget of Euro4.1M, Euro2.5M of which (60%) is funded from the European Regional Development Fund.
